The Holiday Cottage
- Comfortable holiday home with rural views in a quiet, sleepy hamlet.
- This welcoming house has views over the village green to the front and open countryside towards Mathry and towards the coast from the rear.
- Castlemorris is a sleepy rural hamlet with a friendly pub - ‘ Gwesty Bach’ 2 mins walk away and from the village green a circular walk meanders through the pretty surrounding countryside.
North Pembrokeshire
- Llangloffan Fen (a National Nature Reserve) is ½ mile away and is one of the best examples of fen in Wales. Accessed via a raised circular board walk (approx 1km) there are rare plants, the scarlet tiger moth, lots of breeding wetland birds including Cetti’ s warbler, tree sparrow, redpoll and in the winter, water rail, snipe and hen harrier, otters and water vole, so do please keep dogs on leads!
Mathry
- This is a sleepy hilltop village nearby with a local,The Farmers Arms, serving good food and drink, and Siop Fach - watch the woodturner at work and browse the shop selling all manner of unique handmade wooden items.
Tregwynt Woollen Mill
- A short drive takes you to the woollen mill at Tregwynt with its tea room - internationally renowned for its fine welsh woollen cloth. Beautifully made blankets, throws and cushion covers to delight.
Pembrokeshire Coastal Path
- Explore the famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with its lovely sandy coves and golden beaches - Aberbach and Abermawr are a short drive away, the picturesque harbour of Porthgain, Whitesands Beach and the cathedral city of St Davids are all within an easy drive.
Fishguard
- Fishguard, a small market town 6 miles away has a cinema, interesting individual shops, pubs and restaurants and a daily ferry service to Ireland from its harbour.
Priskilly Forest Golf Club,
- In a beautiful rural setting, is one of Wales ‘ Best 9 Hole Gems’ and welcomes visitors - there is a bar, restaurant and tea room to enjoy too.
The Slate Workshop
- High quality slate items created in a renovated 18th C corn mill at Caerfarchell. Do browse the unique series of individually crafted, vessels and sculptured items.
Porthgain Boats
- Take a trip from tiny Porthgain harbour along the dramatic coastline either side of Porthgain. Don't forget your camera and binoculars.
Hayscastle Trout Fishery & Rock Fishing Ceibwr Cove
- Try your luck. Hayscastle Fishery has a well stocked, spring fed lake in peaceful, picturesque countryside near Havferfordwest.
- The rocks on the southern side of Ceibwr Cove are excellent for float fishing & spinning.
Walk from Strumble to Pwll Gwaelod
- Keen walkers with an interest in history might enjoy this 13 mile walk which could be described as the Last Invasion Trail since this is where the last invasion took place.

Kitchen well appointed with gas cooker, microwave, fridge with ice box.
Utility Room dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and sink
Lounge with open log/coal fire, 3 piece suite, tv/video/dvd, cd/radio, patio doors to small paved side area and lawn.
Dining Room table and chairs seating 5, highchair.
Fuel gas central heating, starter pack of coal and logs inclusive May – September, £25 per week outside these dates.
Grounds enclosed garden with raised lawn (3 steps up), small patio with garden furniture.
