Recently restored ancient Farmhouse near sandy beaches
  • Lovely sandy beaches and a remote shore line, stretching as far as the eye can see, are ½ mile away from this recently restored ancient farmhouse.
  • Surrounded by a lawned garden and patio, part of the house was once a barn and a French door from one of the bedrooms opens onto an outside staircase leading down into the garden.
  • Stylishly and comfortably furnished with a large inglenook in the sitting room, another in the kitchen and views of fields and the sea from most rooms.
  • Dyffryn Ardudwy is within walking distance - excellent butchers and grocery shop and the Aely Bryn Hotel (250 yds) serves good bar food.

  • Snowdonia and Lleyn Peninsula
  • Encircled by Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula this is a beautiful area with lots of wonderful beaches - the intimate bay of Llandanwg with its 13th century church nestling in the sand dunes and small beach café (excellent food) and lovely Harlech beach, are all great favourites and generations of holiday makers return year after year.
  • Shell Island nearby has 3 bathing beaches, 2 only accessible when the tide is out and the 6 mile stretch of the South beach which goes all the way to Barmouth.
  • Stunning inland countryside with beautiful walks and through enchanting valleys, dotted with hill farms and clothed with gentle, undulating sheep pastures including the Waterfall Nature trail or deeply wooded and populated with shy wild goats and herons on the river, and leads up to rugged, wild countryside with a dark and mysterious lake from where the famous ‘ Roman Steps’ walk starts - an old drovers road to the English border.
  • The Cambrian Coast Railway runs nearby - the journey from here to Aberdyfi is a treat not to be missed - a rival to any train journey in the Western Highlands! All close to this North Wales holiday home near sandy beaches.
