Colonial Style Bungalow ideal for large party of guests.
Unique fabulous sea views set on the cliffs overlooking Ramsey Island, Ramsey Sound and the tiny harbour of Porthstinian (home to St Davids Lifeboat) where the sun dances off sparkling crystal clear blue waters. Encircled by 2 acres of clifftop gardens, this is a classical colonial style bungalow, typical of its era (circa 1905) spacious and airy, high ceilings and a wide central hallway - lots of room for relaxation in a little kingdom of your own, a piece of 'heaven on earth'.
St Davids Head, Ramsey Sound
Breathtaking views of the sea, Ramsey Island and Ramsey Sound from the long veranda and there is boating activity galore on your doorstep - sailing, fishing, boats trips or leisurely cruises around the islands of Ramsey, (RSPB Nature Reserve) Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm. Spot seals, porpoises, dolphins, (even the occasional whale), colonies of sea birds, glide past majestic high cliffs and visit deep sea caves. At the top of the garden there is a Folly complete with woodburning stove on the ground floor and steep ladder stairs to the 1st floor where there are 2 armchairs - a retreat to relax ‘ away from it all’ and enjoy panoramic views of pastureland, cliffs, St Davids Head, Ramsey Island and the Sound. Pembrokeshire Coastal Path - which skirts the front garden -has hidden, secret inlets, coves and beaches to discover. Enjoy true peace and tranquillity, the scent of wild flowers, bird song and the sea carried on the clear, clean fresh Atlantic air. St Davids tiny village city is a short drive away - magnificent medieval Cathedral and ruined Bishop’ s Palace. The annual Christmas Carol Service by candlelight in the Cathedral is a must - a memorable experience, as is the summer music festival held at the end of May. Forget your car - take a trip on the Celtic Coaster, a minibus which goes around the beautiful St Davids Peninsula visiting St Davids, Porth Clais and Whitesands Beach and links with other walkers buses around the Pembrokeshire Coast Path - bus stop 2 minutes walk from this large holiday bungalow with sea views.
