- The lounge/diner/kitchen opens onto a front terrace - a lovely tranquil spot for wining, dining or just for relaxing on.
- Explore the woodland walks which lead down to a stream (with or without dogs) - wonderful wild flowers in the spring and summer, berries in the autumn and winter - scents, sounds and wild life abound.
- Cardigan 1 mile away has a range of amenities including bank, post office, internet cafe, supermarket, fuel station, chemist, doctor, vet, indoor market and interesting independent shops.
Cardigan Bay Heritage Coast
- The Cardigan Bay Heritage Coast has some of Wales' most attractive and unspoilt coastline, a haven for Bottlenose dolphins, porpoise, seals and a wide variety of seabirds.
- More than 50 miles of magnificent coastline, 30 spectacular beaches, small hidden coves and pretty harbour villages including Aberporth and Llangrannog - all within an easy drive of this cottage just for two.
- Lots to see and do, there is an 18 hole golf course at Gwbert, spectacular coastal paths to walk, sailing, surfing, angling, sea fishing, coastal voyages, marvellous bird watching and pony trekking.
Teifi Valley
- Drive along quiet flower filled country lanes - explore the beautiful inland ‘secret' Teifi Valley, see the salmon leap at Cenarth, enjoy a ride on the Teifi Valley Steam Railway and visit Cilgerran Castle (N.T.) made famous in a painting by Turner, in its' spectacular romantic setting overlooking a deep wooded gorge.
Cardigan
- The ancient market town of Cardigan, once a thriving port, has much to offer - a theatre, leisure centre, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and a range of individual shops and is only a mile away from this cosy and comfortable guest wing for two and mans best friends.
Teifi Valley Narrow Gauge Railway
- Pay once, board at Hellan and ride all day. There are request stops at Forest Halt and Pontprenshitw ( a short walk to the waterfall ). A lovely family day out.

- The Pine Store in Llandysul sells a full range of antiques and reproduction pine furniture. Do call in and browse.
- David Beattie is a working print maker with over 30 years experience. He also creates beautiful sculptures of hares. His etching studio and gallery is in Llandygwydd. Do drop in.
Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park
- Overlooking a nature reserve located on a stunningly beautiful coastal headland. Home to thousands of sea birds, wild sheep and Atlantic grey seals breeding in the caves below. Bottle nosed dolphins are resident in Cardigan Bay too.
