  • Perhaps the finest mountain and sea views in the whole of Snowdonia National Park (or indeed, in the whole of Wales) are yours to enjoy from this newly restored farmhouse perched high above Harlech.
  • Sweeping views across the whole of the Lleyn Peninsula and on clear days the mountain on Bardsey Island.
  • Harlech Castle is romantically silhouetted on a hillside to the south with the vast bay below where two rivers join the sea forming the spectacular Glaslyn Estuary with majestic and dramatic Snowdonia, with mighty Snowdon at its heart as a backdrop.
  • The open plan ground floor is dominated by a wide inglenook with two huge white sofas,there are Georgian shuttered windows and a dining table made from local oak.
  • Spectacular panoramic daytime views from the vast glass conservatory with its massive oak beams and a telescope is provided to star gaze in the unpolluted night
Snowdonia National Park and Harlech
  • From the house there is a circular walk, passing two lovely lakes, fly fishermen will enjoy the challenge of catching trout here! Beyond the lakes are a ring of standing stones – magical and mysterious a place of peace and beauty.
  • Harlech and Llandanwg are 2 beautiful beaches which are never crowded and totally unspoilt and across the estuary the village of Borth y Gest has lovely sandy coves to explore.
  • Portmeirion, the Italian style village, is nearby and the Ffestiniog Railway starts at Porthmadog crossing the beautiful Glaslyn Estuary. In 2009 the Welsh Highland Railway will open. This promises to be one of Britain’s greatest train journeys through spectacular mountain scenery.

3 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 7 plus travel cot.1 double en suite, (corner shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin) 1 double and 1 ‘Bunk’ style with double bed and single bed on top. All on 1st floor.

Open Plan Kitchen/Dining/Sitting Room fully fitted, well appointed  kitchen area with split level electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, small oak table with wooden wall benches 2 stools, high chair. Dining/Sitting area with large oak dining table seating 6, wide inglenook  with wood burner, 2 large three seater sofas, Sky tv, cd/radio.
