Holiday cottage in a tranquil location near Strumble Head
Enjoy spectacular sunsets from this gem of a little Pembrokeshire holiday cottage, in a place of great tranquillity to escape to and unwind in, a bird watchers, naturalists and walkers paradise. Tucked away in the tiny hamlet of Rhos y Caerau the cottage overlooks moorland with a small lake with the backdrop of the iron age hill fort of Garn Fawr and glimpses of the sea beyond. There is a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove in an inglenook. French doors open into a sun room with a small balcony with a truly unique view.
Strumble Head and North Pembrokeshire
Walk the nearby bridle path to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and rugged Strumble Head with its bird and marine life observatory and Lighthouse - perhaps some of the most magnificent coastal scenery in all of the Path’s 186 miles. Goodwick is close by and has several shops, pubs, an excellent restaurant (Farmhouse Kitchen) and the Fishguard Bay Hotel – a tribute to a more gracious era which overlooks the fabulous harbour from where there are daily ferry services to Ireland. Fishguard is a small, bustling town with a fortnightly Farmers Market, 2 supermarkets, cinema, leisure centre and several pubs, restaurants and individually owned shops, including an excellent butchers and ‘Jane’s’ - a tea room, wool and handicraft shop to delight!

1 Twin bedroom sleeping a maximum of 3 including folding bed, plus travel cot.
Bedlinen provided
Bathroom with full suite and separate shower. Washer/dryer in built-in cupboard.
Kitchen galley style with fitted units, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer.
Living/Dining Room 2 x 2 seater sofas, inglenook with woodburning stove, tv/dvd. Table and chairs seating 4. Doors to
Sun Room with 2 armchairs, small table and doors opening onto a small balcony overlooking the garden with moorland and Garn Fawr beyond.
Heating Starter pack of logs and electric storage heaters inclusive May – September £15 per week outside these dates.
Grounds pretty garden on several levels with stone patio, lawn, garden furniture, lovely countryside views.
Please do not smoke indoors.
