Idyllic rural cottage.
  • An ancient barn set within an early 17th century smallholding, skilfully restored to maintain its agricultural heritage and converted into a cottage with views of Snowdonia and the Rival Mountains.
  • A rural idyll set down a tree lined lane the cottage has thick stone walls, slate floors, open beams, lovely wooden doors and windows - a perfect balance between the simple and modern complemented by fine antique furniture.
  • Surrounded by small fields and sheltered by large trees, hens peck around the door and you can even buy freshly laid eggs for breakfast!
  • The owners have compiled a history of the farm and there are lots of lovely recommended walks locally to enjoy.
Pwllheli, Morfa Nefyn, Port Dinllaen and Coastal Path
  • Pwllheli, a short drive away, is a busy seaside town with two beaches, an impressive new marina and a weekly market,
  • Close by is the lovely sandy bay of Morfa Nefyn with the smugglers cove of Porth Dinllaen (N.T.) at one end. The Coastal Path can be joined here – perfect for appreciating the stunning views and exploring the tiny sandy coves. In quiet weather curious grey seals swim close to the shore.
  • A short drive away are the popular beaches of Llanbedrog (N.T.) and Abersoch which is also one of Wales’ top sailing venues.
  • Snowdonia with its high mountains, tree covered hills, deep lakes and river side walks is a pleasant drive away from this idyllic rural holiday cottage.
