Cottage for holidays on Anglesey
A stylish, beautifully restored spacious cottage set in the sleepy hamlet of Penmon near Beaumaris, Anglesey. The cottage is furnished in an uncluttered, tasteful style with a large stone fireplace in the lounge with a wood-burning stove and an en-suite ground floor bedroom. French doors lead from the living/dining room out on to a patio area with fine views over a woodland clearing and Menai Strait to Snowdonia beyond.
Things to see and do near by.
The pebbled beach and café at Penmon Point with its ruined 13th century Augustinian Priory are within an easy walk and lots of other activities locally include walking, sailing, fishing and golf. Do visit the historic medieval town of Beaumaris with it’s crumbling moated castle, excellent shops, restaurants and tea rooms - take a walk along the pier to enjoy spectacular views of the Strait and Snowdonia. Plas Newydd (N.T.) is close by - sumptuous interiors, lovely gardens, a tree house for children to play in and boat trips from here sail along the Strait and under the two mighty bridges which span Menai Strait. Most of Anglesey’s coast, dotted with sandy beaches and coves, is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the rugged scenery, teeming with bird life, can be enjoyed from the Coastal Path and the long sandy beach at Llanddona and beaches at Red Wharf Bay and Benllech are all within a short drive of this cottage for holidays near Beaumaris, Anglesey.

3 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 6. 1 en-suite (walk in shower, washbasin, toilet) bedroom with king size bed on ground floor, 2 twins on 1st floor (both with sloping ceilings and velux windows)

Kitchen well appointed fully fitted with split level electric fan oven and radiant hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, automatic washing machine.
Lounge/dining room stone inglenook fireplace with multifuel stove, 2 x 3 seater sofas, flat screen Freeview digital tv/dvd ,stereo system. Dining table and chairs seating 6.
Fuel gas central heating inclusive May – September £30 per week outside these dates, starter pack of logs.
Grounds good sized enclosed garden with private patios, lawns, garden furniture and barbecue. Access to woodland clearing beyond – please supervise toddlers here.
