- A delightful little cottage nestling in the foothills of lovely Cader Idris, Wales’ s second highest peak - a true ‘ escape to the country’ .
- Cosy and comfortable stone cottage with an open plan ground floor and with French doors opening out onto the grounds - magnificent views.
- Public footpaths are within walking distance of both Glan y Llyn and Arthfan and this is an ideal location for enjoying the increasingly popular sport of mountain biking with world-class purpose built trails at Coed y Brenin Forest Centre.
- Enjoy peace and tranquillity with beautiful scenic walks or drive the mountain road down to the market town of Dolgellau. Northward takes you up to the car park and picnic area at the start of the Cader Idris climb - the walk to the summit is fairly strenuous, only for the fit!
- Dolgellau is an interesting town full of 17th and 18th century architecture, myriad lanes, alleyways lined with pretty cottages and town houses and a monthly Farmers Market - excellent food, fruit and vegetables.
- Fairbourne and Barmouth are only a few miles away and are the nearest beaches with safe bathing.
- The Mawddach Estuary is Wales finest and another delightful drive is down to the village of Arthog passing Cregenan Lakes with panoramic views of the estuary.
- Dysynni Valley, a remote place and an ornitholigists paradise with Red Kite, cormorants and buzzards at Bird’ s Rock and the romantic ruins of Castell y Bere, once home to Welsh Princes is a lovely drive away.
- Aberdyfi is a beautiful seaside town on the Dyffi Estuary with interesting shops and the famous Penhelig Hotel - superb food in stylish surroundings.
- Thisis one of the world’ s most renowned eco-centres, full of positive ideas on how to combat global warming - an interesting day out in all weathers and in nearby Machynlleth there is a vegetarian café - delicious home made food - vegetable curries and gooey chocolate cookies to die for!

Kitchen/Dining/Lounge open plan with well appointed fully fitted kitchen, electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with ice box, automatic washing machine, table and chairs seating 4. A small dresser and bar divide the kitchen and lounge area which has an electric woodburning style fire, cream leather 3 piece suite, tv/dvd. French doors to grounds, magnificent views.
Fuel electric storage heaters inclusive May – September £20 per week outside these dates.
Grounds medium enclosed garden with lawns, garden furniture. Storage for mountain bikes. There is a small stream at side of property which is fenced off.
