  • The kind and helpful owners, who live in the beautiful old farmhouse nearby, have restored the cottages to the highest standards - hand crafted oak kitchen with stone flagged floor, twin bedroom and shower room on the ground floor and stylish sitting room and double bedroom on the 1st floor.
  • Enjoy exploring breathtaking countryside, steep wooded valleys and peaceful walks along the mighty Dee and its subsidiaries.

  • Lake Bala is Wales’ largest natural lake - great canoeing and lovely walks and Betws y Coed, mecca for all who enjoy Snowdonia, is a pleasant drive away nearby Bodnant Gardens is fabulous in spring and early summer.
  • Llangollen offers a host of activities and is best known for the International Eisteddfod in early July unmissable for lovers of music, song and dance - it also has events throughout the summer and autumn.
  • Chester, a historic beautiful city and, once a border stronghold is a 45 minute drive. Originally an important Roman town there are Roman remains to explore, medieval town walls to walk on, a magnificent Cathedral and unique galleried shops known as the ‘ Rows’ .
  • For beach lovers Llandudno, full of Victorian charm, with its pristine promenade and beach is an hour’ s drive away as are Barmouth and Aberdovey further south - lots to discover near to this cosy cottage.
  • ACCOMMODATION:


    2 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 4 plus travel cot.  1 twin on ground floor, 1 double on 1st floor
    Bedlinen provided
    Shower Room on ground floor with shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin.
    Kitchen/dining area  luxury fully fitted with oak units, split level electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, automatic washing machine, Belfast sink.   Dining tables and chairs seating 4, 3 seater leather couch, antique pine desk, woodburner style electric fire, wall mounted tv. French doors to rear.
    Sitting Room  on 1st floor 2 two seater leather couches, tv/dvd woodburner style electric fire small wooden antique chair, curtained off from double bedroom.
    Fuel electric storage heaters inclusive May to September, £15 per week outside these dates.
    Grounds unenclosed front patio area with table and chairs, barbecue. Care with small children please, horses stabled nearby in unenclosed area.
