- Lovely wooded valleys and tiny hamlets to unwind in away from the summer crowds.
- Llangollen, twenty minutes drive away, has white water rafting, canoeing and lots of other activities and an excellent pub/restaurant in the restored Mill overlooking the mighty Dee.
- Llangollen is best known for hosting the world renowned International Eisteddfod in early July an unmissable event for anyone who loves music, song and dance. Nearby is Valle Crucis the most complete 13th Centuary Cisctercian Monastry in Wales.
- Ruthin in the opposite direction is a small interesting historical town with lots of shops, craft centre, art gallery and excellent eating places.
- Chirk Castle (N.T.) near Wrexham has lavish interiors to enjoy along with spooky dungeons which children will love. Stunning gardens, beautiful woodlands with ancient trees, amazing bluebells in Spring and wild flowers throughout the summer season.
- For beach lovers Harlech, Barmouth and Aberdovey are but an hour’ s drive away from this rural cottage near Llangollen.
2 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 4. 1 twin ground floor and 1 double on first floor. Travel cot.

Kitchen/Diner fully fitted luxury kitchen, split level electric cooker, microwave, fridge with ice box, automatic washing machine, Belfast sink. Table and chairs seating 4. French doors to rear and staircase to 1st floor. 2 seater leather couch, electric heater in woodburner style wall mounted tv.
Sitting Room on 1st floor with 1 x 2 seater and 1x 3 seater leather couches, tv/dvd. Electric woodburner style stove. Curtains separate this from 1st floor double bedroom.
Fuel inclusive May-September. £15 per week outside these dates.
Grounds unenclosed patio at front with table and chairs, barbecue. Care with small children please – this area is open to farm buildings with horses in the stables.
